Employee Investment is Key
Nothing great can be achieved without a great team effort. This principle is a pillar of CSV Construction's Human Resource Management.
Since its inception in 1994, the Company has recruited the majority of its workforce from Stellenbosch and the Helderberg region - where today about 60% of its employees live. Essentially a Helderberg contractor since the start, the Company has transported its people to wherever they are needed.
As the Company has grown, taking on increasingly complex projects, so it needed to invest in its workforce. CSV Construction has an in-house programme to assist employees to progress to the next level. Training facilities at its Head Office near Firgrove, just outside Somerset West, provide for this need, while additional training is supplied by Boland College in Paarl, ACS (Academy for Construction Skills) and other accredited training institutions. It is a management principle that internal relationships and those with clients and service providers are based on healthy, gradual growth.
CSV also prides itself on a hands-on approach- the crux of CSV Construction at all levels. As a result, there is a fundamental belief in attracting good people to create a powerful team to ensure the enterprise remains a major player in the civil and construction industry.
