Our Philosophy

Louis will never subscribe to any philosophy that limits the quality of his wine. He will never murmur any mantra, but the one that’s reminding him to always think anew.

All the vintages so far were naturally fermented, something Louis will never practise in his winemaking at bigger wineries. It is simply not a safe winemaking practice, but in his own time he goes the whole hog.

He will test the extremes of winemaking and thinks that unless there is risk, there is nothing to gain.

The harvest quantity has always been limited to Louis’s budget, and even his modest standards of living were put under stress from time to time. Once wine is being sold he will start buying more grapes and expanding the production.

Louis enjoys winemaking and the technical challenge spurs him on, so no wine style or cultivar will ever stay unexplored.
