OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Atlantic Fiberglass Products (PTY) Ltd started operating on 1 May 2014, mainly to manufacture fiberglass roof units for an International Air Movement Company for fan installations. We are supplying their African markets and exporting to the United Kingdom.

Since then, we also manufactured and made moulds for racing car parts on an ad hoc basis and various other products on request.

Our creative desire led to the birth of MARDEOU Designs, starting with an exciting, modern range of upmarket garden pots/planters, water tanks, and beach/pool chairs.

We pride ourselves on quality and customer service.

We are also open to work with customers on any feasible fiberglass product needs they may have

Colours and Finishes

Mardeou Designs has a range of 18 standard colours, but any colour you want can be matched. Provide us with the Pantone code or RAL code or a physical sample.

Note: There is a 5% surcharge for special colour requests outside of our standard range

Repairs

The advantage of fiberglass, besides being more robust, is that it can be repaired.

Unlike concrete, fibre cement or terracotta pots, we are able to repair and restore any damaged pots manufactured by us

We urge clients to reach out to us with any repair queries.

False bottoms in pots

Thanks to the endless possibilities of fiberglass, the addition of a false bottom is available in most of our pots

The addition of false bottoms is a special service and clients will be required to contact us with regards to the installation thereof

The false bottoms come at an additional cost. 

Our capabilities

We see the entire process through from making the plug, and mould to product.

Our inhouse engineer can provide customers with 3D drawings, this also means that we can provide customers with an estimated quote.

WHY CHOOSE FIBREGLASS?

Plant Health

Fiberglass provides waterproofing, UV protection for hot climates, and because it is not a porous material, it won’t seep chemicals into the soil and harm your plants.

It does not conduct heat to sensitive plant roots like concrete pots, making it more suitable for darker colour pots.

Durability

Fiberglass pots are extremely strong and flexible, they can be utilized both indoors and outdoors. Any scratches or wear and tear can be buffed out or painted over easily. They last a lifetime or longer. They do not crack easily like concrete or become brittle like plastic.

Fiberglass pots are known for superior finishes and being lightweight, ideal for larger pots. Inside or outside, the variety of finishes make mardeou pots perfect for any location.
