IS SOLAR PANEL CLEANING REALLY NECESSARY?

Yes. Over time, dust and debris that settle on your panels form a layer that disables maximum exposure to sunlight, can create hotspot damage, and accelerate wear and tear.  Maintenance is a basic requirement.

IS RAINWATER NOT ENOUGH TO CLEAN MY PANELS?

Unfortunately, not. Just like your car needs more than the rain to get washed, or you need a brush to really clean your teeth, you need a tool to agitate the dust, soot and sticky pollutants off a solar panel.

CAN'T I JUST CLEAN MY OWN SOLAR PANELS?

Of course you can. But our training, equipment and experience enable cleaning in a fraction of the time.  Our system is tested and proven to be solar safe and is one of the very few viable options for utility-scale cleaning.

Solar panel cleaning is not just about keeping your property looking good. It is about protecting your investment and increasing the longevity of your panels.

Soiled panels are not only less efficient (this will depend on the initial condition of the panels but we have personally witnessed an immediate increase of almost 30% immediately after we've cleaned an installation) but dirt can speed up wear and tear and create hot spots that could fatally damage your panels.

Solar panel cleaning is therefore our core business.

However, thanks to the specialised commercial-scale equipment that powers our solar cleaning system and an array of plug-and-play attachments, we are also perfectly geared for an almost unlimited array of heavy-duty cleaning.

*It is important to note that, even though our system is powered by a high-pressure machine, panels are NOT pressure washed as the pressure is used to rotate the brushes, and is therefore converted into mechanical energy before reaching the surface of the solar panels.

Solar panel cleaning

We use a water-fed 10m lance and rotating brush system that was specifically developed not to damage panels but to optimise cleaning efficiency. Ionised water (to prevent lime residue) at adjustable temperatures (to compensate for ambient temperatures) ensure safe and optimal cleaning any time of day.

Commercial panel cleaning

The professionally developed system that we use ensures optimal efficiency and enables

the cleaning of commercial-scale installations in a fraction of the time that it would take to clean it manually. Our machine is diesel powered and not dependent on Eskom power to keep operating during load shedding.

Visual inspection report

It's often difficult for owners to inspect and keep an eye on the condition of their solar panels. While we're busy cleaning yours, we conduct a thorough inspection and document any defects such as loose wiring, cracked or otherwise damaged panels, paint stains and/or noticeable discolouration so that you can action repairs.

Pavement cleaning

Our equipment is powered by a commercial-scale Karcher machine that allows water temperatures of up to 80 °C. This significantly improves cleaning speeds and results on paving, outdoor tiles and even tarred surfaces.

Restaurant deep-cleaning

We've worked on outside dining areas, greasy kitchens and even soiled drive-throughs that have been subjected to many years of food waste. Our hot-water system enables a deep-clean that would otherwise be too arduous to do.

Household roof cleaning

Our fit-for-purpose tools include equipment that significantly speeds up roof cleaning while yielding noticeable results. We are kitted with sufficient hoses to do the job with access to only one garden tap or water point.

Workshop cleaning

We use a specialised floor-cleaning accessory that contains water distribution and prevents indoor equipment from getting soaked in run-off water or spray. Excessively soiled workshop floors may take longer to clean but we've seen some amazing results.

Machinery cleaning

In collaboration with CREAM Car Wash Q Square, we have recently started washing harvesters and other heavy machinery on farms. Packages include interior and/or exterior cleaning with an environmentally friendly cleaning cream and adjustable hot water.
